Check-In · A private phone line for the owner
Call your business. It gets done.
Check-In is a private phone number for the owner of a business. You call it from any phone, say your passcode, and say what you need: who is waiting on a call, which job moved, a reply drafted to a customer. The assistant that keeps your business records does the work, and nothing leaves the business in your name until you say yes on the call.
An AI receptionist answers your customers. Check-In answers you.
Built in Kalispell, Montana. Managed for you, end to end. We set each one up by hand.
On the line
Sample Roofing
The assistant
Hi, this is the assistant for Sample Roofing. What's the passcode?
You
(Says the six digits.) Who's waiting on me?
The passcode, on every call
The assistant
On it. That's task two, four, one, seven. Bob Smith in Kalispell is waiting on a call, and Sue wrote asking for a quote.
Every job gets a four digit number
You
Mark Bob called. Draft Sue a reply saying I can come Thursday. And delete the test lead.
The assistant
Bob is marked called, and the draft to Sue is in your drafts, not sent. One thing waits on you: delete the lead named Test Lead. Should I go ahead?
Records change at once. A draft is saved, never sent. A delete waits.
You
Yes, go ahead.
A yes covers only what was read to you
The assistant
Test Lead is deleted. Anything else?
What you can ask for
Some things it does at once. Some wait for you.
The line sorts every ask the same way. A change to your own records runs and is reported. Anything that sends a message, changes a post, corrects a contact or takes a record away is read back first.
At once
Done on the call
It changes only your own records, and says what it changed.
- What is waiting: leads to call back, mail that needs a reply, jobs that have gone quiet, the posts coming up.
- Mark a lead called, or take the mark back.
- Put a job on the board, move it to its next stage, set its next step, log a call or a meeting on it.
- Add a sub or a supplier to your bench.
- Make a QR code for a sign, a truck or a card.
- Write an email and save it in your drafts. It is saved and never sent from the phone.
- Remember something true about how your business runs, so it knows next time.
Your yes first
Waits for your yes
Anything that sends a message, adds, changes, moves or deletes a post, corrects a contact, or deletes a record is read back first.
- Ask a customer for a review.
- Add a post to the calendar, change one, move one to another day, or delete one.
- Correct a contact, or delete a contact.
- Delete a lead, a job or a sub.
- Send us a note about something we built, so we change it.
Why you can trust a voice on the phone
Four rules, built in. None of them is optional.
- 01
A passcode on every call.
Six digits, said on every call, from any phone, because caller ID can be faked. We keep it only as a scrambled hash and show it once. Three wrong tries end the call. Ten wrong in a day lock the line for a day.
- 02
Nothing goes out without your yes.
Whatever sends, changes a post, corrects a contact or deletes is read back to you on the call, exactly as it will run, and runs only after a plain yes to that list. A yes with a "but" or a "maybe" in it is asked again. A yes cannot be used twice, carried to another call, or applied to a plan that changed.
- 03
No more on the phone than at a screen.
It is the same assistant, with the same walls: your own records and nothing else. On a shared line it never reads one person’s own inbox.
- 04
Big jobs finish after you hang up.
A quick question is answered on the call. A bigger job gets a four digit number and keeps running when you hang up. The answer reaches you by email, and by a notification on your phone. Call back and the number finds it.
- It says it is an AI assistant when you ask.
- What you asked and what came back is kept as a task, so you can ask after it by number.
- English today.
Who it is for
For the owner who is away from the desk.
You run something that works. Half your day is on a roof, in a kitchen, in a truck or at your second business. The questions that stack up are small: who needs a call back, what moved, what needs your word. Check-In answers them by phone, wherever you are.
What it is not
Not a receptionist.
It does not answer your customers. That is a different job, and we build it too.
See the voice agentNot for every business.
We switch it on one business at a time, by hand, for businesses whose records we already keep. If that is not yours, we say so plainly.
Not in Spanish yet.
The line listens and speaks English today.
How it starts
Managed for you, end to end.
- 01
We talk first.
You tell us how the business runs and who would call. We tell you plainly whether Check-In fits. The price comes in writing before any work, as one set package, and changes to what we built are included.
- 02
We set it up by hand.
Your own number. A passcode that appears once and reaches you by voice or in person, never by email. The assistant set up for your business: its name, your team and who is told when a job finishes. We make the first call with you.
- 03
It is on when it works.
We switch it on when your first real request does what you asked. After that you just call.
Straight answers
What owners ask before they call.
What is Check-In?
Check-In is a private phone number for the owner of a business. You call it from any phone, say your passcode, and say what you need: who is waiting on a call, which job moved, a reply drafted to a customer. The assistant that keeps your business records does the work, and nothing leaves the business in your name until you say yes on the call.
How is Check-In different from an AI receptionist?
An AI receptionist answers your customers. Check-In answers you. It is the number you call to run the business, and it works on your own leads, jobs and mail. Answering your customers is a different product, the voice agent, and we build that too.
Who can call my line?
Anyone can dial the number. Only someone who says your six digit passcode gets in, and the passcode is said on every call. Three wrong tries end the call. Ten wrong in a day lock the line for a day.
Can it send an email or post for me?
It writes the draft. It sends or posts only after it reads the exact thing back to you and you say yes. An email it writes is saved in your drafts and is never sent from the phone.
What if it mishears me?
That is why anything that sends, posts or deletes is read back before it runs. Call back with the task number and correct it, and it picks up the same job where it left off.
Is it a person on the line?
No. It is an AI assistant for your business, and it says so when you ask.
What does it cost?
There is no price on this site, for anything we sell. Check-In is quoted in the conversation as one set package, in writing, before any work starts. Changes to what we built are included.
Does it do everything on this page for every business?
It does what your own setup has. If your business has no posting set up, for example, it says so and posts nothing. Whatever it cannot do, it says plainly, and with your yes it passes the request to us.
Does it work in Spanish?
Not yet. The line listens and speaks English today.
Tell us how the business runs. We will tell you if Check-In fits.
A short conversation, no pitch deck. If it fits, you get one set package in writing before anything is built.
