Data Deletion

A mustard seed character in a cap guards a golden vault with a ring of keys and a padlock.

What a connected account gives us

When you connect a Facebook Page, an Instagram account, a LinkedIn page, an X account or a Google Business Profile to your Command Center, we hold three things: the access token the platform issued for that one account, the account’s id and name, and the permissions you granted. The token is encrypted at rest and never reaches a browser. We never hold your password. We use the token for exactly what you turned it on for: publishing the posts you approved and reading how they did.

Three ways to delete it

1. From your Command Center. Open Accounts, find the platform, and press Disconnect. The token is deleted the moment you press it.

2. From Facebook or Instagram. On Facebook, open Settings and privacy, then Settings, then Apps and websites, find Modern Mustard Seed and press Remove. On Instagram, open Settings, then Website permissions (or Apps and websites), and remove Modern Mustard Seed. Meta tells us the moment you do, we delete what that sign-in gave us, and Meta shows you a confirmation code. Enter it here any time to see the result:

3. By email. Write to sarah@modernmustardseed.com from the address on your account and say which platform. We delete it within one business day and reply when it is done.

What deletion does not touch

The posts already published on your own Page or account stay where they are; they are yours, on your platform. Your Command Center account and the material you dropped into it stay too, unless you ask us to close the account, which the same email does.
