AI Connector Directory / Claude and ChatGPT

The connectors a small business can actually use.

Every connector in the official MCP Registry that does a small business job: booking, invoices, the CRM, the register, reviews, the phones. Sorted by job and by trade, with who publishes each one, how it signs in, and whether it comes from the product’s own maker. Refreshed every day.

Coverage / Fewer than 10 official connectors

Where the makers have not shown up yet.

In these jobs, most connectors come from someone other than the software’s own maker. If your product serves one of them, your customers are using somebody else’s version, or none.

Straight answers

Before you connect one.

Modern Mustard Seed builds connectors, and ours are in this directory. They are sorted by the same rules as every other listing, nobody pays to be listed or placed, and no listing is a review or a recommendation.

What is an AI connector?

A connector lets an AI assistant such as Claude or ChatGPT use another piece of software on your behalf: read your calendar, look up an invoice, check a review. Most connectors today use the Model Context Protocol (MCP), an open standard, and many are published in the official MCP Registry, which is where this directory reads from.

Do these work in both Claude and ChatGPT?

A remote connector is added by its URL. Claude and ChatGPT both accept remote MCP connectors on the plans that allow custom connectors. A local connector runs on your own computer, in Claude Desktop or another local client, and does not work in the ChatGPT website.

What does official mean here?

Official means the publisher proved it owns a domain to the MCP Registry, and the connector lives on that same domain and is not named after another company’s product. Everything else is community: published by a GitHub account, or by a company other than the product’s maker. Community connectors can be excellent; the label only says who published it.

Is a listed connector safe to use?

A listing is not a security review. Before you connect one, read who publishes it, what it can change, and how it signs in. A connector that signs in with your own account and asks before it writes is the safer shape. The auth column says what the registry declares and, for remote connectors, what the server asked for when we checked.

How often does the directory change?

Every day. A scheduled job reads what changed in the registry since the day before and rereads the whole registry once a week, so a connector that is removed, deprecated or no longer matches drops out within a week at most.

My connector is not listed. Why?

It has to be published in the official MCP Registry, marked active, and match the published category map on the methodology page. If it does all three and still is not here, write to us and we will look at the map, not at the connector.

Does Modern Mustard Seed rank its own connectors higher?

No. Our connectors are sorted by the same rules as everyone else’s: official first, then connectors that work by URL, then the most recently updated. Nobody pays to be listed or placed, including us.

Want your product in here?

We build connectors that put a software company’s product inside Claude and ChatGPT, publish them to the official registry, and they show up here by the same rules as everyone else.

Claude is a product of Anthropic, and ChatGPT is a product of OpenAI. Modern Mustard Seed is an independent studio and is not affiliated with or endorsed by either. The MCP Registry is run by the Model Context Protocol project; this directory reads its public API.
