What is GEO?
+
GEO, generative engine optimization, is the work of making a business easy for AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews to find, verify and name when someone asks who to hire. It stands on the same ground as SEO: a site that can be crawled, facts that match everywhere, and pages that answer the question in the first sentence.
What is the difference between GEO, SEO and AEO?
+
SEO earns a place in the ranked results on Google and Bing. AEO, answer engine optimization, shapes the one answer a search feature, a voice assistant or a featured snippet gives. GEO shapes whether a generative AI names you in the answer it writes. For a small business it is one body of work, and Google says there are no additional requirements to appear in AI Overviews or AI Mode beyond SEO best practices. The full side by side is at /compare/seo-vs-geo-vs-aeo.
How long does it take?
+
The audit comes first, and the on-site work and the listings go live in the opening weeks of an engagement, not months. After that the engines set the pace. Google and Bing re-read a page when they choose, and AI assistants differ: those that search the live web can pick up a change sooner, and for most it takes weeks. We send every change through IndexNow, Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools, then measure it in the monthly panel.
Can you guarantee first place on Google or in ChatGPT?
+
No, and no one honest can. Google, Bing and the AI companies decide who they show, and no vendor has a say in it, so a guarantee would be a claim about someone else’s system. What we control is the site, the listings, the facts, the pages, the reviews and the measurement. If a gap in one of those is why a rival is named instead of you, we close it. If an engine simply prefers a bigger brand, we say so. We never buy reviews or links, because that is how a ranking gets taken away.
Do you work with businesses outside Montana?
+
Yes, in every state. The studio is in Kalispell, Montana, and the work is done remotely: the audit by email, the build on a live preview link, the listings in your own accounts. Where you are does not change the work or the price.
Are you an SEO agency?
+
We are an AI product studio in Kalispell, Montana, two people: Sarah Scarano builds, and Anthony Scarano leads sales and marketing. SEO and GEO is core work for us, and what an agency would give you, the audit, the build, the listings, the reviews and the monthly report, you get from the same two people, start to finish.
What does the monthly report show?
+
The buyer questions we asked, the engines we asked them in, whether your business was named for each, the count for the month, who was named instead and why, any wrong fact we corrected, and the changes we make next. The shape of it is on this page.
How is it priced?
+
As a set package price, quoted after the free Presence Audit and a conversation, and agreed in writing before work starts. Changes to what we built are included.
Do I have to replace my website?
+
Not unless the site is the blocker. The map usually moves on the Google profile and reviews first, and a rebuild puts at risk the pages that already rank. We start with the audit, fix in place, and rebuild only when there is no site, no access, no service pages, the site fails on phones, or the platform blocks schema.
Who owns what you build?
+
You do. The site, the code, the domain, the Google, Bing and Apple listings and every account stay in your name, and you can take it in house at any time. We manage it for you, end to end, and nothing about it locks you in.
