Fiat Lux Design: An Interior Staging Studio That Keeps the Windows Real

Problem

Physical staging runs thousands of dollars a listing, so most listings go up empty. Virtual staging exists, and most of it looks fake for one specific reason: the model melts the windows. It furnishes the room and quietly repaints the view, warps the door frame, and invents glass that is not there. A buyer who tours the house notices, and so does the MLS.

Build

Fiat Lux Design is a staging studio for realtors, home shoppers, designers and investors.

• Start from a link or a photo. Paste a Zillow, Realtor.com, Redfin or MLS page and the studio pulls the room photos. Or drop in your own.
• 34 editorial styles across 20 room types. Mediterranean to Japandi, Quiet Luxury to Aspen Ski Chalet, living rooms to walk-in closets, patios to boutique hotel lobbies.
• The geometry lock. Before staging, a second model traces the windows, doors and glass in the original photo. After staging, the original pixels go back over those areas. The view outside and the door glass stay exactly what the listing photo shows.
• Edit by brush. Paint over one piece and ask for something else. The rest of the room holds still.
• Shop the look. Every staged room links out to the pieces in it.
• Ship the listing. A branded prospectus PDF, a video reel, and a share page, all carrying the agent's own brand kit.

Outcome

Live at fiatluxdesign.co on three plans: Vela at $29 a month, El Estudio at $89 and Casa Real at $299. Every plan is paid and hard-capped, with no overage billing, so the cost of a generation can never exceed what the customer paid for it.

Next.js 16 on Vercel for the studio. fal.ai for the staging models. Firecrawl to read listing pages. Supabase for accounts, projects and the atomic usage meter. Stripe for subscriptions.

What this is, generally

A specialty agentic tool that replaces a thousand-dollar service line with a monthly subscription. The pattern works anywhere there is a costly, slow, mostly mechanical job with a clear input and a clear output. Find that job, build the tool, then solve the one detail that makes the output trustworthy. Here that detail was the windows.
